Dry type transformers are among the cooled transformers. Transformers whose magnetic circuit and windings are not protected in insulating liquid are called dry-type transformers. They are located between refrigerated transformers. Dry type transformers do not contain oil. They work under atmosphere or in gas. High voltage and low voltage windings are manufactured indoors. It is also manufactured under vacuum and with resin. Dry type transformers are reliable against fire. Due to its structure, it is resistant to moisture. They can work even in very high humidity environments.
